Meet The Doctors
Dr. Kurt Swauger
Dr. Kurt Swauger grew up in Franklin, Tennessee, as the youngest of six kids. He received his first degree in marketing from Auburn University, then went on to work for Johnson & Johnson. After 5 years in pharmaceutical sales, Dr. Swauger was looking for something more fulfilling. He decided to return to school & pursue a doctorate degree. He graduated from UT Memphis Dental School in 2001 and finished his pediatric residency in San Antonio, TX. It was in San Antonio that he met his future wife, Elsie.
Dr. Swauger is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a proud member of both the Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Association. He is the past president of the Tennessee Society of Pediatric Dentistry and served on the National Committee on Clinical Affairs for 5 years. Dr. Swauger had the honor of serving as Local Arrangements Chair for AAPD 2020 held in Nashville.
In his free time, Dr. Swauger enjoys scuba diving, telling bad dad jokes, and working out. He is a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, having attended 118 concerts and even making it on stage in 1992 to meet and sing with Jimmy.

Dr. Swauger is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a proud member of both the Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Association. He is the past president of the Tennessee Society of Pediatric Dentistry and served on the National Committee on Clinical Affairs for 5 years. Dr. Emily Suiter
Dr. Emily Suiter grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee, where she saw the transformative possibilities of a happy, healthy smile through her father’s orthodontic practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Belmont University, then attended University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis, graduating with high honors in 2013 and receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Suiter also completed a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry degree at UT, where her thesis research was published in the leading pediatric dental research journal, Pediatric Dentistry. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
Dr. Suiter and her husband, Justin, have two young sons. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her extended family in Clarksville, camping at Dale Hollow Lake, and sitting still between two running boys.

Dr. Spencer Warren
Dr. Warren grew up in McMinnville, Tennessee, before attending college at Lipscomb University in Nashville. It was there that he met his wife, Annie, on a medical mission trip to Guatemala. After college, Dr. Spencer attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center: College of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. During his time at UTHSC, he developed an interest in pediatric dentistry while working in the pediatric clinic and teaching children about oral health at local schools. This interest took him to The Ohio State University, where he completed extensive training in pediatric dentistry and received a Master of Science degree.
Dr. Warren is passionate about finding ways to make each child and family feel comfortable in the dental office. He understands that every child has unique needs, and he strives to find ways to take care of each child in an individualized and compassionate way.
Dr. Warren enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, Fin and Elliott. Outside of the office, Dr. Spencer enjoys cheering on the Titans and visiting one of the many beautiful parks in the Nashville area.

Dr. Nauzie
Dr. Nauzie grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, before attending college at Rhodes in Memphis. After college, Dr. Nauzie attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center: College of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
During her time at UTHSC, she developed an interest in pediatric dentistry, but it wasn’t until after dental school that she realized she truly enjoyed working with children – this was made apparent when she was working in a pediatric dental office in Nashville. She decided to specialize and completed her residency training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nauzie enjoys spending time with her family in Nashville and Memphis. She also loves traveling out west to visit family there and enjoy the beautiful mountains and scenery.
